EDUCATION
Gerardo R. Villar received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of San Martín de Porres. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the San Martín de Porres Law School in Lima, Peru. He earned his Master of Laws in Civil and Commercial Law from the same University and also earned his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Marriott School of Brigham Young University. SPECIALIZATION Mr. Villar is associated with LSPN PRO, a nationwide network of attorneys dedicated to estate planning, trusts, wills, and wealth protection, in his role as Estate Planning Manager for the Hispanic community in the nation. Mr. Villar as an Immigration Consultant assists with professional visas, extraordinary ability petitions, and national interest waivers, immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing. He also practices family-based immigration, including consular processing, adjustment of status applications, family petitions, experience in abused U visa and VAWA petitions, and citizenship issues. He was previously an associate member of Weber Law LLC and Poulton Law Group, PLLC, Keen Law Offices, and Weber Law among other law firms. He brings extensive international experience working with the Hispanic community in the areas of immigration law, estate planning, taxes, real estate, contracts, and business consulting. Before joining Poulton Law Group, PLLC, he was a shareholder at Villar Abogados, where he served as section head of the firm's Real Estate Section. Before that, he worked as a "Legal Clerk" in the Office of the General Counsel of the Church of Latter-day Saints. In this capacity, Mr. Villar directly assisted the International Legal Counsel in the supervision and coordination of all legal matters affecting the LDS Church in the following countries: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela ACKNOWLEDGMENTS He is the recipient of the TUMI USA AWARDS Award for recognizing him as a Peruvian immigrant professional for having shown a spirit of solidarity, dedication to work, professionalism, and service to the community.
