Jacob and his wife are the proud parents of six children. Jacob loves spending time with his family, serving in his church, reading, playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He and his family recently spent two full weeks backpacking part of the Appalachian trail. Jacob speaks fluent Spanish and French and aspires to learn Mandarin Chinese someday. He oversees and directs the firm's operations and attorneys in the southwestern United States, but works with advisers and clients throughout the United States. His practice is focused primarily on planning for business owners and high-net-worth individuals in areas such as income and estate tax planning, business structure and succession planning, asset protection, and charitable planning. He is also part of an elite team of subject matter experts that focuses on the dental industry. Before joining Inter Vivos, Jacob was the chief tax and asset protection consultant for a large asset-protection company.
